Will all Prestige staff who come to my house to provide care be wearing masks?

Home » FAQs » Will all Prestige staff who come to my house to provide care be wearing masks?

We appreciate your concern for yourself and your loved ones. Prestige has comprehensive prevention practices in place and provides personal protective equipment to our staff. While the use of masks can help to prevent transmission of disease from infected patients to others, the Department of Health and The World Health Organisation (WHO) do not currently recommend that masks should be used by healthy members of the public for the prevention of infections like coronavirus. The WHO advise that people should only be wearing a mask if they are caring for someone with the suspected virus. Prestige has a supply of masks which are to be used in the event that you need to care for someone who is unwell.
