We have enjoyed significant organic growth since first commencing services in early 2005 in Sandringham. This is testament to the amazing care staff we have employed who are passionate about what they do and about helping people to remain in the comfort of their own homes for as long as possible.
Strategic growth through meaningful
partnerships and acquisitions
As well as organic growth over the years, we have been fortunate enough to have acquired similar organisations whose vision, values and approach mirror those of ours at Prestige. The procurement of these businesses has enabled us to bolster our teams with amazing staff, expand into new geographic areas, and learn about new and innovate ways of supporting people to maintain independence at home.
Finding the right partners and ensuring acquisitions add value to the Prestige ‘family’ has been paramount and we continue to look towards stimulating growth and partnering with organisations that might be a good fit for our group.

Omni Care
We are excited to share that Omni Care has officially joined the Prestige Inhome Care community. This partnership brings together two organisations with shared values, a commitment to personalised care and a focus on helping people live independently at home.
Founded in 1999 in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, Omni‑Care grew into a respected, family‑owned provider known for its warm, flexible and client‑centred approach. The Omni-Care team now support clients across metropolitan Melbourne, offering compassionate, tailored assistance with a focus on dignity, independence and highly personalised care.
The Omni-Care acquisition brings together more than 1,200 dedicated carers and over 200 support office team members, strengthening our presence across Melbourne and enhancing the depth of experience within our broader organisation.
For Omni‑Care clients and families, day‑to‑day support remains unchanged. Behind the scenes, clients will benefit from a larger network of resources, expanded support and the reassurance that comes with being part of a strong, established provider.
We are honoured that Omni‑Care has entrusted us with this important responsibility and look forward to continuing their legacy of kindness, reliability and community connection.

Vision Australia
In October 2025, Prestige expanded their services and client base, taking over the management of Vision Australia’s home care clients.
This transition marked a new chapter in Prestige’s long-standing partnership with Vision Australia. As part of the acquisition, the Vision Australia case managers also joined the Prestige team as employees and continue the work with their clients.

Dutiful Daughters

Dutiful Daughters became part of Prestige Inhome Care in July 2017. The acquisition of Dutiful Daughters, a highly reputable organisation passionately servicing the eastern suburbs of Sydney for over 20 years, enabled us to expand our professional, reliable and friendly approach to support locals across greater Sydney. We are very pleased that the Dutiful Daughters’ staff continue to undertake the beneficial work they are renowned for since joining the Prestige family.

My Health Carers
My Health Carers, a leading provider of in-home care and nursing on the Mornington Peninsula for over 20 years, joined Prestige Inhome Care in 2013. Known for high-quality staff and excellent communication, My Health Carers experienced significant growth. We were excited to partner with them to continue delivering exceptional care to the local Peninsula community.

Independent Life
Prestige acquired Independent Life in November 2013. Both organisations share a passion for promoting older people’s independence and empowering them to live fulfilling lives. Independent Life, a leading support provider in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, has a proud history of quality care. Prestige was delighted to find a fantastic group to help expand our services and support more older Australians wishing to stay at home.

Inhome Carers
In early 2011, InHome Carers joined our family, bringing a similar mission and aligned values. Established in late 2004, InHome Carers built a strong reputation for providing high-quality home-based support in Melbourne, with the very best staff. Most of their staff chose to stay, and with new technology, additional resources, and a supportive head office, Prestige Inhome Care continued to grow and thrive.
