We have enjoyed significant organic growth since first commencing services in early 2005 in Sandringham. This is testament to the amazing care staff we have employed, who are passionate about what they do and about helping people to remain in the comfort of their own homes for as long as possible. Recently, Prestige has moved its head office to Moorabbin, to support our growing teams and allow us room to provide onsite training, development and support to staff.
Exploring the trends behind our rise in in-home care mergers
As well as organic growth over the years, we have been fortunate enough to have acquired a few similar organisations whose vision, values and approach mirror those of ours at Prestige. The procurement of these businesses has enabled us to bolster our teams with amazing staff, expand into new geographic areas, and learn about new and innovative ways of supporting people to maintain independence at home.
Finding the right partners and ensuring the acquisitions add value to the Prestige ‘family’ has been paramount and we continue to look towards stimulating growth and partnering with organisations that might be a good fit for our group.
We encourage synergies with companies that share our values, vision and belief in helping people to remain living in the comfort of their own home.
InHome Carers became part of our ‘family’ in early 2011. With a very similar mission and well aligned values, the union has been very positive for both companies. InHome Carers was established in late 2004 and has since provided high-quality home-based support to clients throughout Melbourne. With a passion for the very best staff and delivering exceptional care, the team at Inhome Carers developed a successful reputation as a company that delivers very high-quality care.
The majority of staff chose to remain working with the company and with the injection of some new technology, additional resources and a supportive head office, this area started to develop and grow. The Hawthorn office at 110 Church Street, Hawthorn, is the eastern office for the organisation.
Independent Life was acquired in November 2013. Both our organisations are passionate about promoting older people’s independence and empowering them to live fulfilling, healthy lives. Independent Life had a very proud history as a leading provider of quality support to people living in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
Prestige was delighted to have found such a fantastic organisation to help expand the scope of services and support to the increased number of older Australians wishing to stay at home as long as they wish.
My Health Carers
The Mornington Peninsula company, My Health Carers became a vital part of Prestige Inhome Care’s growth in 2013. Almost 20 years ago, My Health Carers became the leading provider of in-home care and nursing on the Peninsula. With an amazing reputation for high quality staff and communication, the business saw significant growth in recent times. We were very excited about finding a partner on the Peninsula and to continue to deliver exceptional care to the local Peninsula community.
Dutiful Daughters In-home Care
Dutiful Daughters became part of Prestige Inhome Care in July 2017. The acquisition of Dutiful Daughters, a highly reputable organisation passionately servicing the eastern suburbs of Sydney for over 20 years, enabled us to now expand our professional, reliable and friendly approach to service locals across greater Sydney; adding to our existing locations across Greater Melbourne, Geelong and the Mornington Peninsula.
We are very pleased that the Dutiful Daughters’ staff continue to undertake the fantastic work they are renowned for since joining the Prestige ‘family’.
