Do you have the qualifications?

Prestige Inhome Care is committed to ensuring we provide the best team and support to our clients. In order to do so, and for the safety of our team and clients, we make sure that all our staff have the appropriate certificates and compliance. In addition to the job experience, qualifications, and a solid understanding of exceptional service, we require current:

  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • A current driver’s licence, a reliable roadworthy vehicle and full comprehensive car insurance (vehicle allowance included in package)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance through relevant state government agency
  • The right to work in Australia.

Every new starter at Prestige completes a company induction to welcome them to the team. In addition all staff have access to our inhouse training platform, where we deliver programs such as Manual Handling.

As a Personal Care Attendant at Prestige, you will have a great opportunity to add significant value to a client’s life by supporting with duties including Personal Care, Domestic Support & Socialisation and Companionship.

You will have:

  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care / Disability / Individual Support
  • Previous work experience OR lived experience caring for a friend or loved one
  • Experience with high care clients and dementia ideally within residential or community aged setting

As a Disability Support Worker in these ongoing shifts with aged &/or NDIS clients, you will have the opportunity to add significant value to a client’s life by supporting with duties including personal care, companionship, community access, shopping, and domestic assistance.

You will have:

  • Previous experience in aged care, disability, home & community care
  • Qualification in Aged Care/Disability/Individual Support/Nursing
  • Valid driver’s licence & reliable vehicle would be preferred
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or the willingness to obtain

You can start your career in home care by joining Prestige Inhome Care as a Home Care Attendant.

A Home Care Attendant carries out domestic duties around the home and provides companionship to their clients. You can progress to a Personal Care Attendant through completing your studies while you work as a Home Care Attendant. 

While experience and/or qualifications are not required for these roles, your caring, proactive and supportive nature is just as important. Perhaps you’re already experienced in home care, or previously worked in hospitality, community support or customer service. What’s key for us is that you demonstrate an empathetic, kind and compassionate nature, and a genuine interest in supporting clients in their own homes. 

You may also have:

  • Experience in commercial or domestic cleaning
  • Working at Heights Ticket will be highly regarded

We look for gardeners and handy persons who have a reliable vehicle and the tools of their trade. Services can include gardening & mowing, gutter cleans, washing windows, changing light globes, change smoke alarm batteries, cleaning exhaust fans and cleaning ovens & other maintenance tasks.

You will have:

  • Relatable gardening AND maintenance experience
  • Your own equipment – includes mower, trimmer and basic hand tools
