2025 Carers and Office Employee of the Year

Prestige Inhome Care recently announced Carers of the Year and Office Employee of the Year, recognising outstanding work performances from staff members in the 2024-2025 financial year.

Congratulations to Prestige’s Carers of the Year – Carolyn from Geelong and Arljanita from Sydney. The two carers were surprised with their awards during staff gatherings at their home offices.

And congratulations to Angela, who was awarded the Office Employee of the Year! Ange, a Case Manager who works from Moorabbin was delighted to receive her award during a recent All-Staff meeting.

NSW/QLD Carer of the Year – Arljanita

Arljanita was nominate by her client services team for The Agility Award. This award talks directly to our value of Be Agile. Her nomination read:
 
‘Arljanita has outstanding agility and commitment, and most specifically at short notice! Your dedication to supporting our clients at a moment’s notice is truly commendable. Thank you for always going above and beyond to ensure the best care for both current and new clients. Your efforts do not go unnoticed, and we are grateful to have you on our team.’

Arljanita has been with Prestige for around 4 years. Prestige executive Emire Boljevic travelled to Sydney to present Arljanita with her award and join with the Sydney team in celebrating her amazing service to Prestige.

Emire said, “Arljanita, we are thrilled to announce you as our Carer of the Year! Thank you for all your great work with our Sydney team and our clients. Your commitment and flexibility has not gone unnoticed!”

VIC Carer of the Year – Carolyn

Carolyn was nominated by her client services team for the Service Star Award, this award talks directly to our value of Be Client Focused. Her nomination read:

‘Carolyn is an exceptional carer, known for her reliability, professionalism, and genuine compassion. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure the well-being of those she supports, demonstrating unwavering dedication in every aspect of her role.’

Carolyn celebrated 10 years with Prestige in December last year. She is deeply appreciated by the Geelong team, who were so excited to celebrate with her .

On presenting Carolyn with her award, Prestige CEO Nick McDonald said, “We are thrilled to announce you as our Carer of the Year! Thank you for all your great work with our Geelong team and our clients. Your commitment, professionalism and genuine care is much admired and respected.”

Office Employee of the Year

Congratulations Angela! Her nomination read:
“THE service superstar! She constantly goes out of her way to help her team members and other teams who need support and guidance.

Her dedication has ensured that clients from all regions receive the support and answers they need.

Her unwavering commitment to excellence and her proactive approach have made a significant impact on our team’s success.

Her positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile inspire everyone around her. Thank you, for being an incredible role model and a true asset to our team!”

Angela has been with Prestige for 10 years, beginning at the Reserve Rd office as a part-time Client Services Coordinator and since then has held various roles including Sales Pipeline Officer, Care Specialist Consultant, Team Leader, Case Manager, often juggling two roles at once. She was also Prestige’s OG work-from-home/remote worker when she and her family moved to Sydney.

Ange received her award from CEO Nick and COO Thea, who commented: “Ange truly embodies the spirit of Prestige, and has made a significant positive impact on our culture.  She puts her hand up and volunteers for those odd-jobs outside her role, she has shown flexibility during times of change, and generously shares her knowledge of the business and the client journey with her team mates at Prestige. Congrats Ange!”
