Here’s more about Kirby, the person…

Tell us about yourself??
I’m the father of 3 young kids (6, 4 and 2), which keeps me very busy! I’m a physiotherapist, and for the past 20 years (prior to Prestige), have spent my time working in hospitals and community health.

Proudest achievement: recording an album, and having some of those songs played on radio and TV.
How do you like to spend your spare time? Spare time? Don’t have much of that… but when I do, spending time with family and friends, playing music, snowboarding, travelling, going to the footy, and playing golf.
What did you want to be when you grew up? I boldly aspired to be a professional basketballer rivalling Jordan in the NBA… height was sadly always against me.

Any hobbies, quirky party tricks?
Plenty of hobbies – practically any sport. No real quirky party tricks – I can juggle a little, that’s about it!
What would people be surprised to learn about you?
I used to be able to dunk a basketball, and was a state long jumper.
Do you have a nickname? How did you get it?
I’ve never really had a good one. In high-school, some people tried to get Kirbit to stick, a play on Kermet the frog, as I was a jumper… Never really took off (thankfully!)
Football Team?
Collingwood!
