Our client Christine was a lucky winner in our 20-year anniversary giveaway. When asked what she would love to do, Christine chose something she had missed: an evening at the theatre. The chosen performance, A Trip to Vienna, was a celebration of Strauss, Mozart and Bartók.
The evening began with dinner at a restaurant on the Geelong waterfront, where Christine was treated to a special birthday dessert before the group made their way to the Geelong Arts Centre. From there, they enjoyed the live classical concert performed by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Anja Bihlmaier and featuring Johannes Grosso.
The program featured Mozart’s bright and spirited Oboe Concerto, Strauss’ warm and waltzing Rosenkavalier Suite, and Bartók’s Concerto for Orchestra.
For Christine, sharing the experience with her friend and carer made the occasion even more special.
A wonderful night was had by all, and we were delighted to help make Christine’s wish come true as part of our 20 Years, 20 Dreams celebration.
