Mosman Daily: Challenge For All The Ages

In this year’s federal budget the government announced that $17.7 billion in funding will be provided to revamp the aged care sector over the next four years. 

This includes $7.5 billion which has been allocated to support older Australians to remain in their own homes and more than $650 million will go towards building up the workforce.

These investments have been welcomed by the aged care sector, but many Aussies are wondering how much difference these reforms will make at a local level. There are challenges facing a significant ageing population residing in Sydney’s North Shore.
